going for 4 (poem)



since our team building to day in subic was cancelled because of the typhoon! i will upload this instead! Uaap opening is 2 weeks from now and issues are coming up but you can't be bothered by those issues and keep on working. anyway here you go! 


Going for 4
If 3 is a history then 4 is still a mystery.
If you’re contented; I’m not.
I don’t want to march, looking back at the day
Where I walked out of the dome crying my heart away.
Because winning is the only option.
Losing should not be on our diction.

It’s the last chance to prove something.
It’s the last time to show the school some loving.
When I retire that ATENEO jersey
And stop playing for the colors of Mary.

Talents will bring us somewhere
But working together will bring us up there.
Stay positive! Stay away from negative!
Stay hungry! We can’t be lousy!

i wrote this peom for my thesis class last semester. My thesis was writing poems and this is a product of that class. hope you liked it! :)
